A Bridge Between Global
Medical Faculty & Telangana

The International Faculty Pool is a Government of Telangana initiative under the Department of Health & Family Welfare. It empowers Medical Doctors of Indian origin based abroad — and distinguished foreign medical professionals — to register their intent to contribute voluntarily to medical education in Telangana during their visits to India.

Approved faculty can conduct lectures, CME sessions, live surgical demonstrations, workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars at empanelled medical colleges, hospitals, and universities in Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria

Two pathways to join the Faculty Pool

Indian-Origin Doctors Abroad

NRI · PIO · OCI Cardholders

  • NRI, PIO, or OCI card holder
  • MBBS or equivalent degree (recognised)
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
  • Currently practising outside India
  • Valid registration with a national medical body
